View specificationsIt is based on an ADI SHARC 21489 architecture with 40-bit floating point and a high processing capacity (400 MIPS, 1600 MFLOPS).
It has 16 analog inputs and 16 outputs, and 16 DANTE digital inputs and 16 DANTE outputs. Additionally, it features a USB sound card input/output channel to play and record on a PC or use with video call software.
One of the standout features of the NMX-1616D audio matrix is its signal processing algorithms. The main ones include: Echo Cancellation (AEC) for video conferences, Feedback Cancellation (AFC) allows flexible placement of microphones and speakers, improving speech amplification and delivering the audio where it’s needed. Noise Suppression (ANS) effectively removes stationary noise that differs from voice. Automatic Gain Control (AGC) ensures the inputs have an optimal level. In addition to other functions such as auto-mixing and priority control, it also features signal dynamic processing like parametric filters, graphic filters, noise gates, expanders, compressors, delays, crossover networks, and limiters.
Processing can be applied to both analog channels and DANTE digital channels.
Each channel has a volume control that can operate independently or combine two channels to form a stereo channel.
The matrix assignment allows you to assign inputs to outputs with independent volume control for each assignment, enabling you to select a different mix for each output.
Up to 16 scenes can be loaded with a memory function that auto-saves the selected parameters from the last session.
8 GPIO ports for controlling actions on the matrix or other devices.
For conference system applications, it features PTZ camera control for tracking the debate.
The matrix features powerful modular configuration software. It allows you to configure each input channel with 5 different processing modules and each output channel with 4 processing modules. The processing algorithms have extensive parameterization. It provides great configuration and customization flexibility to offer a solution for every installation, such as audio distribution, conference systems, etc. The configuration software can manage multiple matrices to form a complex system.
With the software, it is possible to create custom control panels to run on touchscreens, tablets, or smartphones (Android and iOS). These panels can display only the necessary functions for each user.
The matrix can be connected through an Ethernet port. It supports UDP, RS-232, and RS-485 connectivity, along with a communication protocol for integration with other control systems.
Thanks to its flexibility, it can be used for voice applications such as conference systems or video call rooms and in music systems for restaurants, hotels, shopping centers, etc.
